The name of our practice is a fusion of two words.
On one hand, there’s “Ami” – the French word for friend, and on the other, “Dentis”, which means of the tooth in Latin. Together, they form Amidentis – a friend of the tooth.
This combination perfectly reflects the values our practice stands for: an open, warm, and above all friendly environment where you can receive high-quality dental care. Whether you’re coming in for a routine check-up or specialized treatment, your smile is in good hands with us. That’s Amidentis.

Endodontics and micro-surgery
After obtaining the Baccalauréat Scientifique in Paris, I studied dentistry at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) where I graduated as a General Dentist in 2004.
From 2008 to 2011 I followed the 3-year specialization course in Endodontics (Ghent University). In combination with work in clinical practice, I subsequently conducted scientific research at ACTA (Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam), where I obtained my PhD in 2016 and am still involved in the specialist training of dental endodontists.
In the clinic I focus on root canal (re)treatments and micro-surgery.

I graduated from Carol Davila University in Bucharest in 2014. During my studies, I participated in many international study exchanges. After completing my internship, I had the opportunity to work with a great Belgian dentist, which has allowed me to live and work full-time in Belgium since 2016. In 2023 I completed the international postgraduate degree in periodontal muco-gingival surgery with Prof. Massimo de Sanctis and in 2024 I completed the university competency program in implantology at the University of Liège, under the guidance of Prof. France Lambert.
During my years of study and clinical work in practice alongside major international and Belgian dentists, I have gained important experience; this is my backbone in guiding my patients to long-term oral and general health.

In 2016 I completed my 6-year dental education at Carol Davila University in Bucharest. After graduating, I developed a strong interest in periodontics and implantology. Then, in 2019, I started a master's degree in Periodontology and Implantology at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. During this period, I had the opportunity to work as a periodontist in various hospitals and dental clinics throughout China.
Since 2021, I have been living and working in Antwerp, Belgium, where I work as a general dentist and periodontist. I am actively pursuing further training in national and international courses.
In 2022 startte ik een opleidingsprogramma Implantologie aan de Universiteit van Luik. Gedurende deze tijd heb ik veel ervaring en expertise opgedaan op het gebied van tandheelkundige implantologie.
I am pleased to have the opportunity to be part of this wonderful community, striving to provide top quality dental care in all areas of dentistry, with the help of passionate and professional people working with us.

Who is Amidentis?
After meeting each other in a leading group practice in Antwerp, Robert and Oana followed a specialization in implantology together at the University of Liège. In addition to the same drive to continue developing, it became clear that they also shared the same vision of professional and high-quality oral care.
In a former bank office in Maria-ter-Heide, the opportunity presented itself to put this vision into practice. With a contemporary design, warm atmosphere, and ultra-modern dental equipment, Robert and Oana want to build a dynamic practice where a passionate team of skilled dentists, dedicated assistants, and friendly receptionists are always ready to provide the best care according to the patient's needs without compromise.
